Position Summary:
Serve as advisory resource, project management lead and escalation contact for all global equity administration and compliance matters for equity awards in over 63 countries. Partner with external vendor, UTC Human Resources, Tax, Legal, Accounting, Payroll, and Business Unit Compensation functions to ensure smooth operation of compliant equity programs. Identify and implement planning strategies and processes to enhance efficiency, control risk and minimize the Company’s global liability. Manage the Company’s outside vendor relationship, tracking performance levels, escalating issues, acting as UTC implementation lead and UTC single point of contact. Oversee day to day administration of UTC plans, manage equity lifecycle events including the annual LTIP grant process, plan vestings, and expirations and lead various ad hoc assignments relating to the equity program (i.e., acquisitions, divestitures, stock splits, etc.)
Technical areas will include experience with NQSOs, SARs, RSUs, PSUs, restricted stock, and dividend equivalents and managing international tax and legal compliance of equity programs.
Requirements:
Undergraduate degree required; advanced degree preferred.
Advanced knowledge of equity plan administration and global compliance issues.
6 to 8 (+) years experience managing stock plans in a large sophisticated global corporation.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong project management skills.
Ability to adapt to frequently changing priorities and identify critical paths for resolution.
Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
Minimal travel required.
