JOB TITLE: Senior Stock Plan Consultant
LOCATION: Menlo Park, CA

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Stock Plan Consultant performs all the duties as the Stock Plan Consultant. In addition, they are required to support the Sales, Account Management, Implementation and Consulting groups as required by their manager. Travel is required to meet face-to-face with current and prospective clients and serve as subject matter experts in the operation of Equity Edge, the requirements of FAS 123R financial reporting for 10K/10Q reporting, and for equity compensation in general. They are also required to participate with Product Management and provide feedback on the development of Equity Edge and Equity Edge Online.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS FOR SENIOR STOCK PLAN CONSULTANT:
1. Perform all duties required by the Stock Plan Consultant.
• Support all E*Trade Corporate clients on B2B products
• Resolve escalated cases from Corporate Support, Outsourcing, and Account Management
• Update CRM with Case notes for escalated cases. Note all key elements, notes and resolutions.
• Update CRM with knowledgebase solutions. This involves writing new and editing existing solutions.
• Continuously enhance Equity Compensation knowledge and expertise. Follow guidelines for passing CEP levels I, II, III as described for Stock Plan Consultant.

ADDITIONAL JOB DUTIES FOR THE SENIOR STOCK PLAN CONSULTANT:
2. Sales and Account Management Support.
• Provide support to both the corporate client and to the internal teams.
• Handle escalated calls which involve review of various factors, analysis of situation, and working through to reach an effective solution for the client. Confer with management for direction on escalated cases that require additional resources to resolve.
• Perform demonstrations with Equity Edge on Financial reporting, Equity Compensation best practices, and serve as subject matter experts. Presentations may be via the Internet or in person.
• Act as expert in dealing with accounting, tax reporting, and financial reporting requirements. This requires competency in all aspects of financial reporting and Equity Edge’s capabilities. It also requires the direct interface with external auditors, CFO’s, Controllers, and other high profile personnel in this arena.
• Work on special projects as directed by Manager.

3. Internal and External training and communication.
• Develop internal and external training tracks around Equity Edge functionality including financial reporting, procedures, and advanced topics.
• Deliver presentations to User Groups and to NASPP chapter meetings. Will also require attendance at Directions conference, to “evangelize” Equity Edge and it’s capabilities, and to perform presentations as needed in front of clients.
• Assist other internal groups (Corporate Support, Outsourcing, etc.) in understanding advanced topics in Equity Compensation and Equity Edge. This will also require working with the Internal Training group.
• Author FAQ’s and other written help topics, both for internal and external use.

4. Consulting Services.
• Audit defense: Provide client auditors with level of comfort regarding audit compliance for financial reporting.
• On site services, including but not limited to: “Health Check”, Financial Reporting training, and audit defense.
• Implementation of valuation and financial reporting services, features and functions for the Equity Edge and Equity Edge Online products.
• Work on special projects as directed by Manager.

5. Keep up with Industry Knowledge and training.
• Attend all possible Industry events, including Directions and NASPP
• Pass all CEP levels on first possible test date.

6. Participate in product enhancement meetings for Equity Edge Online
• Participate in Spec reviews, BRD/MRD’s, and QA meetings as required by Manager.

MINIMUM/REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• At least 2 years of customer support experience
• PC software and web application experience
• Ability to mentor, train, and share knowledge in a team environment
• Ability to effectively communicate to a group and facilitate group training sessions
• Ability to deliver excellent customer service. Ability to develop on-going professional relationships with corporate clients
• Ability to work independently and able to organize and prioritize work
• Outstanding problem resolution skills
• Stock plan administration, accounting, paralegal, or HR benefits experience
• Experience supporting employee stock option and/or stock purchase plans
• BA/BS preferably in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration or equivalent job experience
• Ability to communicate with all management levels within client organization ranging from Stock Plan Administrator to Corporate Counsel to Chief Financial Officer using excellent written and verbal communication skills
• 5-7 years stock administration experience within an environment that utilizes Equity Edge as the primary administration tool
• Available to work extended hours as needed
