This position in located in Wakefield, MA.

This person contributes to Comverse’s success by administering global equity based compensation programs. Responsibilities will also include maintaining the stock administration database, stock based accounting, vendor management and employee support.

Summary of key responsibilities:

Perform full responsibilities of stock plan administration, including but not limited to:
Managing of option/ restricted stock/ performance share grants, exercises, cancellations, and terminations
Production and distribution of stock option agreements, tracking of returned signed agreements, and follow up of outstanding documents
Performing monthly share and option reconciliations and provide periodic reports to Accounting and Payroll departments as necessary
Maintaining participant data and ensuring all participant stock plan transactions are correctly processed and settled in a timely manner
Maintaining all relevant paper and electronic files for the company’s stock plans·
Act as Project Manager and SME in completing database and reporting conversion
Assist Accounting and Compensation departments with evaluation of Equity programs as the ultimate administrator of these plans
Prepare and conduct training to enhance employee understanding of equity; work with Broker to develop employee communications
Ensure Section 16 stock grant and transaction details are submitted to legal for timely SEC reporting·
Complete surveys and assist with compiling benchmark data for equity plans
Act as SME and lead or participate in cross-functional teams, in implementation of stock initiatives ( e.g., Restricted Stock Awards, Performance based Awards, etc.)·
Administer annual Executive, Director and Employee stock grants·
Act as primary liaison between employees and Broker to affect timely transaction processing and to resolve account issues
Due diligence projects as required; prepare RFPs and assist in the selection of vendors

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree required
5+ years in Stock Administration
Strong Analytical, research, troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Solid customer service and organizational skills and the ability to multi task
Proficiency with Excel
CEP certified (Level III highly preferred)
Strong knowledge of Equity Edge 7.0 or higher, Microsoft Excel and Word
Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels.
