By connecting experienced GEO members (Mentors) with other GEO members (Mentees) seeking guidance, support, and knowledge sharing, GEOelevate is a flexible, member-driven program designed to enhance your GEO membership and contribute to your professional journey.
Our program is designed with a 'light-touch' approach, empowering you to shape your mentoring experience according to your individual needs and schedules.

HOW IT WORKS
We believe in empowering our members to shape their mentoring relationships. Here’s how our program works:
- Year-round application: Apply to be a Mentor or Mentee at any time through our dedicated webpage. This page will be available to all GEO members.
- Facilitated matching: The GEO Team facilitates the matchmaking process, leveraging member profiles and stated interests to identify potential matches.
- 'Chemistry' check: Once matched, mentors and mentees are encouraged to schedule an initial meeting to assess compatibility and establish rapport.
- Mutual agreement: If the initial meeting is successful, mentors and mentees will work together to define priorities and duration, using our Mutual Agreement document.
- Member-driven: Ultimately, the responsibility for managing the relationship and process rests with the mentor and mentee. We provide the platform and initial support, but you drive the connection.
