GEO's Chapters provide a local connection to members in communities around the world.
They support the growth of GEO's global membership base, attracting expertise and extending connections for the benefit of all global members.

CHAPTER STRUCTURE AND LEADERSHIP
GEO's Chapter Development Committee provides general governance and guidance to Chapters, helping to align the Chapter activity with GEO strategy.
GEO encourages each Chapter to establish a leadership team or committee of local members to drive Chapter membership and engagement.
Chapter leadership members:
- Must be GEO members (three recommended)
- Should include issuer and provider members
- Should designate one leader as a point of contact or a team of leaders
- May choose the structure best suited to their local environment
APPLY TO ESTABLISH A NEW GEO CHAPTER
GEO will consider establishing Chapters in regions where there are existing GEO members and ample leadership and volunteer resources.
