Diane Allen is the Equity Plan Director at Spotify, a global audio streaming and media services provider with users across 180+ markets worldwide, where she leads the equity compensation team responsible for all aspects of equity plan administration across the company’s global operations.

Diane has more than 20 years of experience in equity compensation, with a career spanning both the vendor and issuer sides of the business, giving her a practical understanding of the full equity ecosystem from platform capabilities to plan execution.

Diane’s issuer experience covers high-growth technology, global expansion, and alternative investment structures, including equity plan administration at a business development corporation (BDC), where traditional equity grants were not available. Prior
to Spotify, she held equity leadership roles at The We Company (WeWork), American Capital, Ltd., Morgan Stanley, Take-Two Interactive, CapitalSource Finance, Time Warner, and UBS.

Diane holds an MBA from Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business and a Paralegal Studies diploma from New York University. She is a Certified Equity Professional (CEP) and a member of the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals (NASPP).
