Sheila Frierson, FGE

With more than 17 years of progressive experience in the equity plans industry, Sheila leads Computershare’s North American plans business to help clients harness the team’s expertise and simplify the administrative needs of managing an employee equity program. Prior to this role, Sheila led the US plans client relationship management team that delivered comprehensive solutions for plans recordkeeping, employee mobility tracking, year-end tax reporting, and plan participant communications.
Sheila earned her Certified Equity Professional (CEP) designation in 2006 and is an active speaker on topics ranging from equity plan design, plan administration, employee participant communications, and global legislation such as China SAFE, data privacy, mobility tracking, and taxation. Sheila has previously served on the executive board for the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals (NASPP). She was also recognized for her support in the awareness and growth initiatives for the Southern California chapter of the Global Equity Organization (GEO) and now sits on the GEO Board of Directors. Sheila earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington and an MBA degree from Pepperdine University.

Tara Hagen, CPA, FGE

Tara is an Associate Partner in the Equity Services team at Aon. She has over 25 years of experience in providing tax compliance and consulting services, as well as over 15 years in equity compliance and consulting. The range of services Tara provides to her clients includes domestic and international payroll, equity compensation, and global and domestic mobility policies. Having lived and worked and moved across the country and abroad, Tara has a global mindset and is a true partner for her clients and mentor among colleagues. Tara is known for seeing tax matters from various angles, including from the employer, employee, and the tax authorities.
Tara earned her Bachelor of Science, Economics from Rutgers University as well as her Master of Business Administration, Accounting Management. She is a California CPA, Fellow of Global Equity (FGE) and is a member of National Association of Stock Plan Professionals, Bay Area Mobility Management, and the Junior League San Francisco. Tara is also a member of Global Equity Organization, Board Member, and leader in the Northern California chapter which has consistently received GEO honors. And herself been a 2021 recipient of the GEO Star Award. Outside of the office and various speaking engagements, Tara enjoys traveling, cooking, live music, jogging, and yoga, in addition to spending time with family and friends.

Billy Abraham

Billy is a graduate of the University of Illinois and a Manager within the Deloitte Rewards practice, specializing in Equity & Incentives out of Chicago, Illinois.
He works with both public and private companies, advising on the tax aspects of operating equity- and cash-based employee incentive plans around the world, including administration, taxation, and communications. He has extensive experience assisting clients with managing the taxation of equity compensation for globally mobile employees.
In his free time, Billy can be found outdoors, at his piano, or searching for antiques with his wife.

Suzannah Crookes
Suzannah has extensive experience advising companies on the introduction and ongoing operation of their share plans and other equity incentive arrangements in the UK and globally, both at executive level and for the wider workforce. She supports companies in the design and implementation of plans to meet tax, legal and governance best practice requirements whilst maintaining focus on effective communication and alignment with commercial strategy.
Suzannah brings experience from her previous consultancy and tax advisory roles in the Big 4 and large international law firms, to work with companies in ensuring compliant operation of plans both in a "business as usual" context as well as through any corporate actions.
She is actively involved with the UK Chapter of the Global Equity Organisation. Suzannah is also an employee-nominated Trustee Director of the Tapestry Employee Ownership Trust.

Marianne Friebel

Marianne is the Director of Global Stock Administration at Dolby Laboratories, Inc., overseeing the comprehensive management of Dolby’s Equity Compensation Plans across approximately 20 countries. With 25 years of experience in the Equity Compensation field, Marianne has extensive expertise in all aspects of Stock Plan Administration, including Global Stock Plan Management (Options, RSUs, Performance Awards, ESPP), Employee Communications, Internal and External Systems/Platforms Integrations, Financial Reporting/Accounting, Global Mobility and Taxation, SEC/Proxy filings, Option Exchanges, and M&A. In addition to her primary role, Marianne has held various positions in Investor Relations, HR, and Compensation. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from UC Santa Cruz and an M.A. in Counseling from San Jose State University. Marianne is also a Certified Equity Professional.

Kate Hall

Kate is an Associate Partner with Aon Equity Services, the equity valuation and accounting group for Aon that consults with companies on the equity lifecycle. She has over twelve years of experience in assisting companies with their equity needs. Kate works directly with clients in helping with the design, valuation, accounting and on
going administration of their equity vehicles (stock options, performance awards, ESPPs). She also has extensive experience with Long Term Incentive Design, Monte Carlo Simulation, Modifications as well as Equity Conversions as the result of corporate transactions. She is a frequent speaker at industry events both locally and nationally. Kate graduated from the Smeal College of Business at the Pennsylvania State University where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with distinction in Actuarial Science with minors in mathematics and statistics. She has earned the Certified Equity Professional designation from Santa Clara University as well as her Associate from the Society of Actuaries (ASA). Currently, Kate sits on the Curriculum Committee for the CEP Institute.

Pam Jackson

Pam is currently the Senior Manager of Global Equity at Couchbase. She has over 15 years of experience in the equity world with both private and public companies. Pam holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Science with an emphasis in the Environment from San Diego State University, and a degree in Law from New College Of California.
Pams’ favorite part of running an equity team is education for participants and building processes (work smarter not harder) Pam is former co-chair of San Francisco GEO chapter, as well as a former member of the Northern California Geo planning committee. Outside of her professional life, Pam loves to see live music, travel, spend time with her dog Tallulah as well as family and friends.

Tony Miranda

Tony is a Manager within Deloitte’s Rewards practice, specializing in Equity and Incentives out of Chicago, Illinois.
Tony is a licensed Certified Public Accountant with 11+ years of experience in helping U.S. and non-U.S. companies navigate the complexities of operating equity and non-equity based programs, which includes tax and regulatory requirements, multi-jurisdictional taxation of equity awards for international mobile employees, employee communications, qualified plan implementation and on-going administration.

Mary Potter

For over two decades, Mary has dedicated her career to fostering strong communities and ensuring outstanding client experiences. Her approach is rooted in the belief that great support is built on clear communication and a deep understanding of her members' needs.
In her current role as Manager, Community Support and Technical Operations at the Global Equity Organization, Mary's mission is to serve as a trusted guide for the global community, ensuring seamless experiences and proactively addressing their needs. This builds on her previous success at Pathable, where she was recognized as the "most requested Client Happiness Manager" for her hands-on approach and outstanding client retention rate. She is committed to using her experience to help the GEO community grow and succeed.

Olivia Rodrigo
Olivia advises on global compliance of executive and employee share plans, including the provision of advice on global due diligence and securities filings, share plan design and drafting plan documents.
Olivia works with a range of private and public companies, including those listed on the FTSE 100.

Robyn Shutak, FGE

Robyn is a Partner at Infinite Equity, specializing in global equity compensation consulting for multinational employers. She has over 20 years of experience advising companies on all aspects of their equity compensation programs, including plan design and implementation, employee communications strategies, and administration efficiencies and optimization. Prior to joining Infinite Equity, Robyn held various leadership positions with Computershare, the Global Equity Organization (GEO), the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals (NASPP), and several San Diego based technology companies.
Robyn is an active board member for the Certified Equity Professional Institute, a frequent speaker on equity compensation topics, and co-author of the book, If I'd Only Known That.
Robyn has a Bachelor of Arts in English from San Diego State University, a Paralegal Certificate (with honors) from the ABA Paralegal Program at the University of San Diego, and is a Fellow of Global Equity (FGE) and a Certified Equity Professional (CEP). She is based in San Diego.
